Meet the Directors and Managers behind Piranha Parcels.
Martin has over 25 years of experience in logistics and owns a successful chauffeur business that has been trading since 2014. He founded Piranha Parcels in 2021 during the COVID-19 Pandemic due to a downturn in international travel imposed by Government restrictions. This presented him with an opportunity to diversify with an uplift in eCommerce.
Harry partnered with Martin as they set up and launched their first contract in July 2021. His background in management within the motor industry give him the experience needed to efficiently run the operations of the business, the drivers and the fleet. Having built a working relationship over the past 10 years they make an unstoppable team.
Tony Rees serves as the Contract Manager for DSN1 and stands out as one of Piranha's most valuable assets. His remarkable journey began as a driver, and through determination and hard work, he navigated the ranks of management to emerge as a prominent figure at the DSN1 station. Tony possesses an extraordinary versatility, tackling a wide range of tasks with ease while consistently delivering exceptional quality in everything he undertakes. His ability to adapt and excel in various roles has made him a cornerstone of the team and a respected leader in the organisation.
One of Tony Rees standout achievements was successfully leading his team to deliver 42 consecutive weeks of ‘Fantastic’ or higher scorecards in 2024, which resulted in the team receiving bonus pay during this period. His exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and unwavering dedication inspired the team to excel, ultimately leading to this significant recognition and reward.
Nick Kent plays one of the most fundamental roles in the Piranha organisation as Head of HR, Audit & Compliance. However, his journey with us began as a Contract Manager and was the mastermind behind the set up and launch of our Bristol Depot. He comes with years of experience in the industry, having run other contracts for previous companies. His expertise along with his hard work ethic and infectious personality make him a perfect fit for Team Piranha. Now positioned as Head of HR, Audit & compliance he is truly the glue that holds the team together. His main responsibilities include all the recruitment across both our sites, whilst ensuring all legal and compliance responsibilities are adhered to.
Rick Guedes is the newest member of our management team. As the Contract Manager for our DBS3 (Bristol) site, Rick stands out not only for his impressive role at a young age but also for the wealth of knowledge and innovative ideas he brings to the table. His fresh perspective has been instrumental in enhancing our processes and driving business improvements.
Rick's journey began as a driver, where he quickly showcased the qualities that Piranha Parcels values in its team members. His dedication and skill allowed him to progress through the ranks, first as a Lead Driver and then as a Senior Lead Driver. Today, he serves as the cornerstone of our operations at the DBS3 location, leading with confidence and a commitment to excellence that inspires those around him.
Rachael plays a crucial role in the Piranha operation, expertly helping managing the company’s finances and overseeing payment processes. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that all financial transactions run smoothly, enabling the team to focus on delivering exceptional service. With her keen analytical skills and unwavering commitment, Rachael is truly an indispensable part of the Piranha machine, helping to drive our success forward.
Rachael joined Piranha team three years ago, and despite her young age, she quickly showcased an insatiable thirst for knowledge and an impressive ability to adapt and excel in her role. Under the guidance of her mentors, Martin and Harry, she has taken on increasing responsibilities and has been actively involved in various projects that have honed her skills. Currently, Rachael is diligently working toward her AAT Level 3 in Accounting qualification, which will not only enhance her expertise but also position her for greater opportunities within the company. Her commitment to personal and professional growth, combined with her proactive approach, makes her a valuable asset to the Piranha team.

By far the best delivery company I have worked for. The leadership team are awesome and always there to help if you need it, but let you get on with it of you are good.
The job itself is easy enough, with challenging days like any other job... but Piranha make these days manageable, providing support where it's needed.
Would definitely recommend working for these guys if you are a delivery driver!

Don't get me wrong, it's a fast paced job, however we have a great team that's always willing to lend a hand to make the day go by much faster, the management are great fun and very friendly. My favourite part of the job would be jamming to great tunes all day in the best van. (Obviously a Merc) Another amazing thing is the work flexibility, I can work whatever days I want to, allowing me to balance life out of work.

Some days are tricky some days are easy there is no stress with the job there are always people out there or on the phone to give a hand to when you need it very friendly team and management I recommend the job to anyone

No, not at all. We will fully train you. Of course if you have any past experience it would be a bonus.
No. All of our drivers use vans provided by us. We also maintain the fleet to the highest standards. All you need to is pick it up in the morning and drop it off at the end of the day
Yes. All of our drivers are self employed. We have a team available to help you with this if required
